Gulf Insulation Group (GIG) is a leading company in the insulation business, established in 2009 as a closed joint stock company. GIG manufactures and supplies a complete range of insulation materials required by a wide variety of commercial and industrial businesses.
The company operates plants in Riyadh, Dammam and Al Kharj, supported by a strong ownership base. GIG is owned by its shareholders: Amnest Group, Zamil Industrial Investment Company, Amwal Alkhalej Company and Lama Holding.
Four companies operate under GIG: Saudi Rock Wool Factory Co. (SRWF), Saudi PreInsulated Pipes Industries (SPPI), Arabian Fiberglass Insulation Co. (AFICO) and Armacell Zamil Middle East Co. (AZMEC). Together, these subsidiaries give the group broad capability across the insulation value chain.
